Georganna from Writer's Edge tagged me for this four meme. Some of the responses are going to be embarrassing. Please be kind...
Four jobs I've had:
1. Cleaning lady - I really liked the physical aspect, wasn't very keen on the slavery aspect though ;)
2. Tutor - I really sucked at this one, I'm not a very patient person
3. Project manager - my favorite job yet, loved my team, loved the job, even the clients were ok
4. Stock broker - the job that nearly drove me over the edge...
Four movies I can watch repeatedly:
1. Ocean's 11 - and laugh every single time
2. Pride and Prejudice - the series with Colin Firth
3. Fargo - Cohen brothers at their best!
4. Okay, this is too hard because I'm trying to think of movies that didn't go in and out of favor with me. For example, for about a year I could watch the first (didn't like the other two much) LOTR over and over, but I wouldn't be able to watch it again now. So I don't have a fourth.
Four places I have lived:
1. Vancouver, BC - the younger years
2. Toronto, ON - the rest
3. No comment
4. No comment
Four TV shows I like to watch:
1. 24 - we're running out of time...
2. CSI (Las Vegas). Miami's starting to be insanely boring with their holier than though attitude and Horatio being the center of everything, and never got into NY.
3. The Shield
4. Battlestar Galactica
(To be honest, any day Veronica Mars can replace any of these, but if anyone says anything about this, even the smallest thing, or laugh in the smallest way - beware! :)
Four places I have been on vacation:
1. Arizona, Nevada and California road trip - my favorite vacation ever: Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Death Valley among other things like getting married in Vegas :)
2. Merida, Mexico - the real deal.
3. Canada's Atlantic Provinces - amazing, best lobster, most desolate
4. New-York - for Y2K (and other times) - it was insane!
(I've been to Europe a number of times, but alas, never on vacation, always on business)
Four favorite dishes:
1. Steak
2. Salads of all kinds
3. Crab and scallops
4. Long and slow cooked meat dishes such as Osso Bucco, brisket, pulled pork
Four websites I visit daily:
1. Newspapers
2. Search engines
3. My blog and fellow bloggers
4. Industry sites, that is - writing sites, finance sites, science sites, etc.
Four places I would rather be right now:
1. Someplace warm
2. Someplace pretty
3. Someplace with character - either green or golden
4. In bed with my book
Four people to tag:
You who read this far and
1. Was bored - show me you can do better
2. Laughed at my answers - your turn, he who laughs last blah blah blah
3. Found it interesting - then give it a go
4. Oh, just do it! (Swoosh...)

Hi Melly,
Four answers to your tag
No thank you.
Gee, I really wish I could.
I would, but I have work to do.
You're kidding. Aren't you?
I used to watch CSI Las Vegas, but then got tired of it. The hubby and I look forward to BG every Friday. :)
As for vacations, we're planning on taking the kids to the Grand Canyon and Vegas this Spring. Can't wait!
LOL Liz.
Kidding about what exactly? And you'd better not say Veronica Mars!
:)
Deborah, your kids will have a great time in Vegas. Have you been before? I don't like Vegas much (despite vacationing there for 3! times already), but the Grand Canyon is breathtaking.
Oh I'll go for it :) I can embarrass my self pretty well to :)
No fair! With the opportunity to embarrass yourself comes the responsibility to pass it on to specific people.
I can watch Fargo over and over too. I watch that movie whenever it's on.
Jennifer, you get 3 times FOUR points (that's 12 points, in case you didn't figure it out ;)
Awesome. You're the best!
Georganna - I know, I know. It was cheating a bit, but what can I say? 'Life isn't fair?' 'No one said I'd play fair?' I mean, cliches, right? :)
Fred, I remember the first time I watched Fargo. I was with friends and I kept laughing, on the floor, and they were all looking at me, not sure what was wrong with me and what exactly was funny. Oh, well, the adventures of quirky minds...
I am in complete agreement with you about Ocean's Eleven. Can watch that one over and over again. It's up there with The Godfather, Grosse Point Blank and Army of Darkness.
Incidently, forgive me for being a stickler but it's Coen Brothers and not the Cohen brothers.
Not at all Bob. I appreciate it. In fact, I'm known to be a bit of a stickler myself.
Please, always correct me :)
Glad to find another with similar taste.
Fargo was made by the Cohen brothers. I love all of their movies. Another good one that they did was O Brother Where Art Thou. Their sense of humor is very off beat.
Off beat can sometimes be an understatement when it comes to them, Fred, you're so right :)
I went to Vegas once for an "All Girls" trip with my family. Since my mom paid for it, we were forced to go where she wanted to go, which was the casinos. This time around, I'd like to visit more of the city. My only hope is that it isn't too warm.
I've flown over the Grand Canyon a countless number of times, but have never seen it up close. I'm looking forward to this.
Oh, you're going to have a great time, but I assure you, it will be hot. Especially in the summer.
I love Vegas myself, simply for the kitsch value of the place. Where else can you find "Roman" aqueducts that smells like chlorinated swimming pool? Best time to go is March or April as it's starting to get warm.
LOL bob, good description indeed.
I think I pretty did all I could do in Vegas. No more for me. I hope. :)
I love Veronica Mars. Well, not in that way. I don't have a shrine or anything. I wouldn't have that.
Because I don't. Really.
-------
All jests aside, her character is very will written, and makes sense along side her father. Strong and vulnerable: in other words, a story built on reality and potential.
Shhhh, don't tell Jonathat. It'a our little secret...
