I got home last night but was too tired to even turn my computer on, believe it or not.
Well... I went rock climbing for the first time ever and I got the proof right here:
On the way up:
Reaching the top:
The way down:
This was the best fun I had in a while!

Welcome back, Melly! You're much braver about heights than I am. :)
Welcome back - last time I went rock climbing was in the 6th grade. I made it about five feet...I was a scrawny kid.
glad you had fun and glad to see you back.
Thanks Deborah :)
I like doing "scary" stuff, but I can't do roller coasters. Go figure.
Cavan, it's time to try it again. Definitely and for sure. I loved it despite my arms hurting the next day (I used upper body strength - pulling myself up, rather than using my legs to push my body. Oh, well...).
Thanks rdl :) :)
Glad you had fun, and welcome back.
It looks like you had fun. I've done it before, but never really got the hang of it.
Now roller coasters I can do, which I find rather strange.
Woohoo, pictures of Melly! I've been waiting months. My new favorite post. :-)
Welcome back Melly. You've been missed.
Cool! Never been rock climbing before.
Glad to have you back.
Thanks Jean, Benjamin, Jennifer. It's so nice to be back to such a warm welcome :)
Deborah, for me it's a matter of control. I like being in control, so I don't mind doing things like climbing, rafting, scuba diving etc.. But in a rollercoaster I only have one option - sit back, and I can't stand that. Plus, it breaks my back and scares me to death! ;)
Trée, you've been seeing my pics each time you're here - all the pics in the banner are mine. Okay, okay, maybe too small :) Thanks, good to be back :) :)
The pictures look great. I am glad Houston was warm and welcoming for a Canadian in need of a little sun. I am expanding in reach and sent you an invite, if you are interested
Hey Lance. Thanks. Coming a lot from someone who posts great pics all the time :)
I haven't checked my gmail todya, but I'll do it tomorrow and look at that invite. Thanks :)
Melly - Be careful up there! Glad to have you back!
Wow!
That looks like fun.
I'd be getting a nose bleed and calling for mommy before I got to the top . . .
Did I just type that out loud?
:)
Looks fun. I used to rock climb. Now I'm afraid of heights. Now ladders are scary.
Thanks Fred and no worries, I was tied up very well ;)
Uhmmm... yeah, Paul, you did - LOL :)
Pat, isn't it amazing how we get scared of things as we age? I'm now scared of driving, or being driven (talk about worse backseat driver), but I don't have much choice...
